Manufacturer Description

The pipe with damper is designed as an additional control to regulate the volume of air drawn through the flue and by doing so, this provides greater control over the heat output of the stove. The damper itself is integrated within the short length of flue and is only recommended for those experiencing issues with the control of their wood burning or multi-fuel stove. Connection: vitreous enamelled flue parts have a male connection to push fit inside the pipe or stove outlet below to ensure deposits within the pipes run down into the stove and do not escape. The male connection is always fitted facing downwards as pictured. It is advisable to seal all single wall joints with a suitable high temperature sealant. It is safe to cut single wall flue down to size for a perfect fit. Construction: easy fit vitreous enamelled flue is constructed from 1.2mm thick laser welded steel. These pipes are not insulated. Approvals: fully CE approved for installation in compliance with UK building regulations. Regulations: designed for internal use, it is against regulations to pass single wall flue through any surfaces due to the heat emitted from the pipe. The safe clearance to combustibles is three times the diameter of the flue or one and a half times the diameter to non-combustibles. It is advised to limit a run of single wall flue to 2000mm to prevent the loss of heat through the pipe which can lead to flue gases dropping.
